Beach

Yesterday we made a drive to Pointe Sable Beach, about 45 minutes from Les Cayes. The drive was INCREDIBLE, the beach would have been but it was a little dirty :( The sand was perfectly white and fine and the water was fairly clear. We didn't stay too long, though because we were soon surrounded by people wanting to sell us stuff and asking for food. But, it was a really good drive and felt good to put our feet in the ocean for a minute or two!

I forgot to give an update on Sonia and baby Loveson on Monday. The doctor said he thinks Loveson's stomach pain is just gas, probably because Sonia isn't eating very well. But, Loveson was running a fever so they gave Sonia an antibiotic. Hopefully that will take care of any infection he may have. We haven't heard how he is doing since Monday.

Also yesterday we stopped a bread truck that drives around from a small bakery outside of town to buy some bread. They ended up giving us two big loaves and a bag of rolls. When we got home, someone had brought us a bunch of fresh eggs. So, we had food to feed the kids again this morning! God is so good!

Jovan is trying to outrun Daddy to the edge of the blanket and escape to the porch outside. Better go help corral the little monkey! He is crawling like CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY!
