Jovan has mastered the art of eating Cheerios. And anything else that can be broken into smaller pieces. This makes him feel like a big boy and think that he can somehow demand that I give him something he can eat himself rather than baby food. He hits his hands on the table wanting Cheerios (and because it makes a really cool noise!) Hmmmmm. It is adorable though, so he gets Cheerios. It does keep him busy for a while!
Visa Update: Our papers DID FINALLY get sent in to USCIS today. Hopefully that means we will get our initial approval in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, we will be switching attorneys so please be praying the transfer goes smoothly and does not slow anything down. It shouldn't...in theory...but you never do know when dealing with USCIS! We are excited about the change and feel it is definitely the right thing to do.
Haiti Non-Profit Update: Finally, after much consideration, I think we have found a name. It will remain undisclosed until we are sure though...still have to double check no one else is already using it. Who knew that pretty much EVERY name you could possibly think of is already in use???? Even when put into French???? But, this one looks like it will work out so now we can really begin filing the paperwork and such. Our goal is to have everything up and running by the time Hugues comes home so then we can really start putting our efforts into raising support for the 2009-2010 school year! It is amazing to see God putting the pieces together for this and gives us peace that Hugues has been in Haiti for a specific purpose...one that could not have been achieved any other way. This past year has not been for our own comfort, but for the glory of God alone and that is a really incredible thing to be a part of!

We've been following your journey through your grandma and she just sent the link to your blog.
We're praying for you (all).
