Various Updates

We are excited that soon we won't have to talk to Daddy on the computer! The two weeks undoubtedly will go too quickly, but we are excited for them to come!

On a good note, USCIS requested an additional document from us that we have to obtain from Haiti. This is good because #1 it means someone actually worked on our case and looked at it and #2 because usually this means that once the document is received our petitions will be approved in short order. Let's pray this is true! Hopefully we will have good news to share while we are in Haiti! Even after this initial approval it will probably be another 6-8 weeks until our interview, but at least we will be on the right road and the end will be in sight. Please pray for the officer who will conduct our interview. That individual has the complete authority to either grant or deny Hugues's visa for any or no reason other than his own judgement. It is very scary to know that our family's ability to be together (in the US at least) is up to one person.

Today while we were talking to Hugues it was raining in Haiti, so he had many, many children gathered in his gallery keeping dry. It was so precious to see their little faces peeking through the window watching us on the computer screen. I can't wait to be there with all of them! We leave on Wednesday morning!
