Thank you to all of you who have so faithfully supported Grain d’Espoir pour Haiti both financially and prayerfully. God has used you in amazing ways already! Last year, 14 children attended school through the Grain d’Espoir pour Haiti program. In addition to these 14 children, we have received over 30 applications for children hoping to be accepted into the program for the 2009-2010 school year. Our goal for this school year was to continue the education of the 14 children from last year and add at least 14 additional children to the program this year. School starts September 14 and so far we have not received the funding for even the children from last year and are facing the impossible decision of which children will be kept in the program and which will not.We understand that these are very difficult times and that to ask people to donate when money is already tight is a tall order. Can you help us? If you are unable to donate financially, do you know someone who might be? Telling people of the need in Haiti and of our program is the most difficult part as we begin this new ministry. Will you help us to spread the word and hopefully obtain the funding to honor our commitment to the children in Massey, Haiti?
