None of Stephanie’s siblings have attended school since the family moved to Les Cayes, and only a few of them attended in Port-Au-Prince. Stephanie used to attend school in Port-Au-Prince but has been unable to continue as funding has not been available and she has been caring for her younger brothers and sisters.
Stephanie is a quiet and strong young woman. She says that she is scared of what her life will look like and how she and her brothers and sisters will survive without their parents. Her desire is to attend school and be able to support herself and her family in the future.
